Do you think the representation of Jews as mice is adequate?
2).- De que manera la historieta te ayudo a entender el Holocausto y sus efectos?
In what ways has the comic helped you in your understanding of the Holocaust and its effects?
3).- Crees que la representacion de los Americanos como perros es justa? Que asociaciones se vienen a tu mente con ese animal en particular?
Do you think the representation of Americans as dogs is a fair one? What are the associations that come to mind with this particular animal?
4) De que manera es la idea de "represion" representada en el arte y el lenguaje del libro?
In what ways is the idea of repression portrayed in the art and language of the comic book?
5) Discute las maneras en las cual un libro como Maus u otros pueden ser considerados como literatura seria y legitima
Discuss the ways in which a comic book such as Maus or others could be considered as serious or legitimate literature.
Remember that you only need to choose ONE question.

Next week we will have a test on MAUS. the day of this test is: Jueves 17 de Diciembre. I will ask about the main characters and also about some vocabulary related to the book. (These are examples of the kind of questions I will ask next week)
Ejemplos:
Quien es Vladek?
Como se llama el hermano de Art?
Que significa "genocidio"?
It is very important that you answer the question in a "full sentence"
Ejemplo:
Quien escribio el libro MAUS?
Art Spiegelman = wrong (One word answer)
Art Spiegelman escribio el libro Maus = correct (Full answer)

Hey guys, el dia Jueves 10 de Diciembre tenemos PRUEBA.
These are the contents:
DONDE (use of adonde, por donde, de donde)
CUANDO (use of desde cuando, hasta cuando)
"La, lo, las, los"
Ejemplos: Did you see the movie New Moon?
No, I did not see it
Viste la pelicula New Moon?
No, no la vi
note: we use "la" here because we are refering to the "movie", and because "movie" is a feminine noun (la pelicula) we go with "la"
Note: also is important to notice whether the object is SINGULAR OR PLURAL
La and Lo = Singular
Las and Los = Plural
